Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- Proven experience in IT/network infrastructure. (LAYER 2, LAYER 3 switch)
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration. (WIN server)
- Proficiency in configuring networking equipment. (VLAN)
- Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms is a must.
- Relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Documentation and Technical Reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Keen interest in continual learning and professional development.
- Result-oriented, customer-focused, self-motivated, proactive and problem-solving.
- Preferably able to speak in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
- Must possess own car transport with valid driving license.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT and network infrastructure.
- Ensure that operations’ workflow and practices and server maintenance are working effectively and efficiently to aid the improvement of performance, security system, and availability of systems and dependent ecosystems.
- Design and maintain network architecture while ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer servers, storage, and virtualization. (VMware and Hyper-V, HCI)
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
- Implement and maintain security measures. (Firewall policy deployment)
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance.
- Evaluate and optimize infrastructure.
- Plan capacity and scalability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical guidance.
- Respond to infrastructure-related issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Participate in incident response activities.
- Report directly to CEO.
