Requirements
- With related working experience 1 - 2 years
Responsibilities
- Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
- To assist Independent Director in performing audit function in reviewing on the Company compliance level in all the affected laid down policies, procedures, processes and regulatory requirements.
- Verify on branch compliance level with established internal control procedures by examining documents including records, reports, operating practices, and memos to gather information.
- Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings and henceforth analysing and summarising operating information and trends.
- Evaluate adequacy of internal control mechanism and provide sufficient recommendation on areas which require rectification or enhancement.
- Communicates audit findings to relevant departmental unit and ensure corrective action are implemented within reasonable timeline.
- Provide timely report to Independent Director and or Board of Audit Committee on outcome of internal audit, on going progressive update on lapsed material and assist in drafting recommendation based on finding captured.
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
- Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
- To regularly report the independent audit material to Board of Director and Board of Audit Committee.
