Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Medical Sales Representative or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, medical office management, or related field is preferred.
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license.
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology and legislation.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and consultative sales skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Presenting and demonstrating how medical products work to doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Scheduling meetings with potential and existing customers, which includes doctors, biomedical, nurses, and other health care professionals.
- Building long-term relationships with clients and healthcare institutions
- Identifying customers' needs and recommending company products that best fulfill those needs.
- Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent after-sales service.
- Maintaining detailed knowledge about the healthcare industry, competitors, and products
- Meeting sales targets set by the company and aim to exceed them
- Arranging conferences and group events for medical professionals.
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and training to promote products and services
- Researching competitors’ products, pricing, and market success.
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts and meeting outcomes
- Preparing sales reports as well as territory analyses and submitting them to management.
