Requirements
- Language: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, quality assurance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a focus on quality control and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inventory control principles, and warehouse best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Overall Operations Oversight: Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure that all activities are performed efficiently and in accordance with quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy. Provide ongoing training and support to foster a culture of excellence.
- Quality Control Management: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and safety of products throughout the handling and storage process. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to accurately track stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and optimize inventory turnover. Ensure that products are stored and handled in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. Monitor order status and address any quality-related issues or concerns promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and quality control metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, purchasing, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve any quality-related issues or customer complaints. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall warehouse performance. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and implement best practices to achieve operational excellence.
