Kelayakan

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is usually required. Relevant coursework in inventory management or supply chain management may be beneficial.
  • Experience: Prior experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or garment industry setting, is often preferred. Experience with stock management, inventory control, or cost accounting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting principles and practices is essential. Understanding inventory valuation methods, such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out), is beneficial. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), may be required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel) is necessary.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are important for analyzing stock-related data, identifying trends, and conducting variance analysis. The ability to interpret financial reports and make recommendations based on data analysis is valuable.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in financial record-keeping and inventory management is crucial. Attention to detail is necessary to ensure that stock transactions are properly recorded, and inventory counts are accurate.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for collaborating with other departments, conveying financial information, and addressing stock-related issues.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines is essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments, such as production, sales, and purchasing, to achieve common goals is important.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, production schedules, and stock requirements is valuable in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Preferably Mandarin Speaking candidate will be added advantage 

Additional requirement: can go side visit check stock, have own transportation.

Tanggungjawab

  • Financial Records and Reporting: Maintain and record the company's financial data, including daily transactions, expenses, and revenue. Assist in preparing financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage the company's inventory, including raw materials, finished goods, and work in progress. Ensure inventory levels meet production requirements while minimizing stockpiling and obsolete products.
  • Procurement Support: Collaborate with the purchasing department to coordinate the procurement of raw materials and other necessary items. Ensure timely purchasing and adjust inventory levels according to production plans.
  • Cost Accounting: Assist in tracking production costs, including material costs, labor costs, and manufacturing expenses. Work with the production team to ensure cost control within budget.
  • Inventory Valuation: Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in estimating inventory value. Ensure accurate recording of inventory movement and promptly identify any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Records and Data Management: Use excel to record inventory information and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Provide decision support to optimize inventory management and procurement strategies.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal control requirements, as well as preparation for financial audits.
  • Communication with Other Departments: Maintain close communication with production, sales, and purchasing teams to ensure coordination between inventory and production plans.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to inventory management and financial records to ensure smooth operations.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Duties: Recording customer payments and updating accounts receivable ledger. (key in bank in slip). Key in debtor form. Following up on overdue payments and contacting customers / operation regarding outstanding balances.
  • Financial Reporting Assistance: Prepare weekly debtor aging / monthly debtor statement of account.
  • Recordkeeping: Organizing and filing accounting documents and records. (PV, OR, JV, Supplier Invoice, Expenses bill & etc)
