Bandak was established in 1938, and have its main office in Lunde in Norway, In addition there are sites at Raufoss, Halden, Notodden, Alesund and Porsgrunn in Norway and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Bandak Group has its main business within the Offshore Oil & Gas and Maritime sector, but also delivers advanced mechanical products for applications within defence, aerospace and renewable energy.

Bandak Group has outstanding resources for accomplishing complex system and complex product deliveries, including Engineering, Project Management, Advance Machining, Certified Welding, "Surface Engineering" (High-Spped Thermal Spraying,Plasma- and Clad Welding, Hardening),Aassembly, Testing and Documentation. An accredited laboratory for calibration is also included in the Group.
