Basecamp Films is a dedicated standards based Digital Colour Grading and Mastering facility in Malaysia. We provide South East Asian film makers with a facility and the expertise that they rely on to ensure their film is finished to worldwide cinema standards of quality.

We pride ourselves on maintaining absolute colour precision throughout our facility using THX Cinespace and Lightspace software.

We have recently opened our 3D Digital Cinema for 2D and 3D standards compliant colour grading and mastering. It is equipped with a 3D Stereo 2K Christie projector, Dolby DCP Server and Dolby Sound processors.

With 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound capability our THX certification is pending confirmation and by the end of 2012 we will fully comply to THX Digital Cinema Audio, Picture and SMPTE Mastering Standards.

Basecamp Films also has a dedicated TV Colour Grading and finishing room for commercials and TV documentaries. In addition our experienced 3D Stereoscopic compositing team recently completed the 3D stereo conversion of War of the Worlds: Goliath. Originally made as a 2D animated film. 'Goliath' won the 'Best 3D Animated Feature Film' at this years LA 3D Film Festival, beating Dreamworks' Madagascar 3 and ParaNorman to the top spot.
