BB Bake House

Our fascination with sourdough first came about as a WFH project during Malaysia's 1st MCO in 2020.

A combination of curiosity and limited culinary skills led to experimentation with sourdough bread. Eventually, samples were shared with friends, family and beyond - which resulted in many saying -'if you make this, I will buy it.'

Basket Break Bakehouse was born.

Initially a one-woman show, BBBH began serving customers from home via a humble Instagram page - receiving orders and dispatching boxes of sourdonuts all over the Klang Valley. Within 9 months, we grew to about 2,000 engaged followers. This response spurred us on to continue improving & innovating new flavours and product.

In December 2021, BBBH opened a homely, takeaway-only micro-bakery in Seventeen Mall PJ to be closer to our customers.

Today, our consumption audience is 5,000 strong, and we particularly love seeing the same faces return for more every week!
