Big Planet Hotel Sdn Bhd (The Chambers Hotel)

The chambers hotel is located in the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) building.

The historical PCCC building was constructed back in 1917. However during World War II, Light Street Wing was destroyed in 1941, and the Penang Street Wing was occupied by the Japanese armies.

In 1954, Light Street Wing rebuilding commenced to restore the beautiful building back to its full glory.

The PCCC building is located within the Core Heritage Zone of George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is identified as a Category II building by the Local Authorities in the Guidelines for Conservation Areas and Heritage Buildings (Municipal Council of Penang Island) 2007.

The Chambers hotel and restaurant has 12 rooms inventory and a restaurant serving Chinese and Western Cuisine.
