Global Sunshine Biotech Sdn. Bhd. had our humble beginnings as a Malaysian Biotechnology Company in April 2004 with an authorized capital of RM5 million. We are a joint venture between Malaysians and Sheng Chang Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Taiwan. We develop, manufacture and market health food and nutraceutical products using advanced technology.

North Borneo Herbal Biotechnology Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 2004 as the herbal and nutraceutical products branch of Global Sunshine. We enhance Malaysian and Asian herbs and botanicals’ qualitative essence into health supplements and introduce them into the global marketplace of health and nutrition products and services. A strategic alliance with Sheng Chang Pharmaceutical Company Limited, one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Taiwan, further boosts our position and capability to serve in the rising health industry.

Bio Essential Sdn. Bhd. began our roots in Malaysia in June 2008 and is a subsidiary of Global Sunshine Biotech Sdn. Bhd. We are the Sole Asian Region Licensee of DIC Technology (owned by ABCAR-DIC Process, France – French-based equipment manufacturer and service provider for the food industry) for the entire Asian region. The joint venture in areas of DIC R&D is approved by the French Research Ministry.

We employ a proprietary food processing technology called DIC (Détente Instantanée Contrôlée). DIC Technology is a leading edge proprietary technology-for drying, sterilizing, steaming and extraction of agricultural products into value added high quality niche products to fulfill the highly discerning global market place of preserved, hygienic, purified, nutritious, wholesome agriculture intermediate and finished products, foods, wellness and pharmaceutical ingredients
