Borneo Highlands Resort spreads out over a wide area of 5000 acres. Only 1500 acres is reserved for development. Development includes golf course, clubhouse, exclusive bungalow development (controlled), organic farms, water reservoirs, landscape gardens, horticulture nursery, etc.

Borneo Highlands Resort employs close to 160 employees. 65% of the employees are from the nearby communities (local natives of the area-villages along Padawan). Approx 50% employees have worked for Borneo Highlands Resort for 5 years and above.

Minimise use of chemicals, usually not used unless necessary. Use organic based fertilizer for green and tee box. Very low application of fertiziler for rough and fairways.
