Brahim’s Food Services Sdn Bhd (BFS), ********1599 (**7281-X), formerly known as Brahims SATS Sdn Bhd (BSFS), is the leading inflight services provider at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Penang International Airport.

Currently serving 36 international airlines, BFS is a key vendor to Malaysia Airlines (MAS), the national carrier, and caters to other esteemed clients like AirAsia, AirAsia X, Etihad, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Thai Airways, Emirates Airlines, Garuda, KLM, Indian Airlines, Eva Air, and Pakistan International Airlines.

Operating from its large and highly sophisticated halal flight kitchen located at KLIA, BFS caters an average of 190 aircraft daily and prepares 35,000 to 40,000 meals per day. Menus are developed in collaboration with in-flight services teams from customer airlines, considering their specific requirements and local raw ingredients. BFS chefs suggest recipe modifications, followed by a food tasting session, before adopting and implementing new menus.

BFS's flight kitchen is comprised of three departments: the hot kitchen, the cold kitchen, and the pastry and bakery kitchen. These kitchens produce a variety of hot meals, cold salads, desserts, bread, and pastries, utilizing modern equipment for enhanced operations.

As a globally recognized 100% halal certified flight kitchen, BFS operates 24/7 with a maximum capacity of approximately 50,000 meals per day. The company takes pride in its fully halal compliant integrated food logistics supply chain.

In addition to food services, BFS also provides cabin handling services, including laundry services for pillows and blankets, stocking cabin trolleys with items for in-flight sales, and supplying passenger headsets, newspapers, and periodicals.

With 1,193 dedicated staff operating from a 59,000 sq meter complex at KLIA, BFS proudly stands as the world's largest halal flight kitchen and has earned numerous international awards for its commitment to quality and excellence.

In 2003, BFS (formerly known as LSGB) entered into a catering agreement with MAS for the exclusive right to supply and provide in-flight catering and cabin handling services at both KLIA and Penang Airport. The current business growth is attributed to the increasing number of meals served due to rising passenger traffic at KLIA and Penang airports, along with fleet expansion by airlines such as MAS, AirAsia, AirAsia X, and Emirates. MAS continues to be BFS's main customer.

BFS is primarily owned by Brahim’s Airline Catering Holdings Sdn Bhd (70%) with the remaining shares (30%) owned by Malaysia Airline System Berhad (“MAS”). Its location is at the Catering Building, MAS Complex, South Support Zone, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, *4000 Sepang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
