Bumitouch Sdn. Bhd. is Project Land Management Consulting (PLMC) incorporated since 2008.
Company has started business by providing services on land matters which include Land Surveying and Airborne Surveying (LiDAR).
Since it was established, there are more than 55 License Land Surveyors companies had register under Bumitouch Sdn. Bhd. Bumitouch owned a latest 6800-400 LITEMAPPER LIDAR system.
We have a competent and professional trained staffs to accomplish our client needs and requirement.
We at BUMITOUCH always strive forwards to extend our services to the level of the utmost deliverables for Airborne Surveying data and finally produced Orthophoto, DEM, DTM, Ground Contour & Drainage Pattern.
The usage of the remote sensing, GIS and GPS technologies can be of vast help to the management in oil palm re-planting program.
The initial step involves a careful survey of the area and determining the exact definition of the boundaries.
This can be supported by LIDAR (Light Detecting and Ranging) imagery to give precise positioning, provided a good-quality visual material is available.
In using GPS receivers, the map of the plantation will be accurate, and this can be produced in a fully digitized form by scanning the terrain, hence producing virtual terrain which is defined numerically as well as graphically.
The digitized map can then in principle be used in a computer –based GIS, in which all of the spatially defined information concerning the plantation can be collected and analyzed. If stereoscopic imagery is available, this allows a digital elevation model (DEM) of the area to be produced, in which the contours are plotted automatically, and may be produced as an elevation.
This facility is particularly useful in hilly or broken terrain, where it can help to predict erosion risk.
OBJECTIVES
• To assist the plantation management team into making accurate decision on replanting activities with detailed land information acquired faster and cheaper by using LIDAR imaging technology.
• To provide database on user requirement and is more sensitive to subtle variations in light energy reflectance; enable it to discriminate subtle variation condition of land structure.
• To expand the use of remote sensing technology using LIDAR to segregate portion of rural, urban and commercial area, in other segment to demarcate the parcel of GSA Section 4, Section 5, Section 6, Section 7 and Section 8 in precise mapping order.
