It is a subsidiary of EMUM 55 in Kedah.

EMUM 55 (Penang) was set up in 2005 while its parent company, EMUM 55, was set up in 1955.

While EMUM 55 (Penang) is involved in Rice trading, EMUM 55 is also involved in Transport, Rice Milling, Property Development and trading of Building Materials and Foodstuffs.

EMUM 55 is financially strong and without financial debts.

It is a subsidiary of Ong Seng Choo Holdings.
