Company Overview:

Hong Seng Power is a leading supplier of diesel generator sets and marine engines in the region, dedicated to providing quality products and services to our customers.

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team and assist the Project Manager in the execution of specialised projects. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering and experience in project coordination and management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager with project documentation and control, including job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts.

- Collaborate with the on-site management team to ensure the successful execution of specialised project assigned, adhering to project plans and meeting anticipated deadlines.

- Manage the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal process, ensuring timely responses and approvals.

- Process owner billings and address project-related accounting issues as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.

- At least 2 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager, preferably in electrical projects.

- Proficiencyin AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and time-management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards relevant to electrical projects.

Pay: From RM3,800.00 per month
