Huichen Maxlink Investment, a member of the China Huichen Investment Holdings Group, is based in Beijing. Its core activities are in infrastructure development and construction, and trading of agricultural and mining products.The company is the developer of the Mirigama Chinese Special Economic Zone in Sri Lanka. This SEZ is the first one in the country that is foreign funded and caters for manufacturing companies from China marketing to the South Asian countries. Its trading activities center around the bilateral trade of products like tea, rubber, gem stones and mineral ores between China and Sri Lanka and the ASEAN countries.
