KD Carbon Sdn Bhd was incorporated in May, 1994 and was initially involved in the design, fabrication and marketing of a range of modular , versatile and energy efficient drying system (Activated Carbon).

The Company ventured into manufacturing of activated carbon using palm kernel shells ( a waste product / biomass from the palm oil milling industry ) in year 2009 Several hundred tonnes of premium grade activated carbon produced by the Company has been sold in the local market as well as exported to Euro Countries mainly for purposes of water treatment and gaseous phase filtration / purification.
