Kejuruteraan Indah Maju Sdn Bhd/Pembinaan Prestamaju Sdn Bhd was formed in 1998 to undertake the design and construction of wastewater treatment plants on a turnkey basis for domestic sewage as well as the agricultural and industrial waste sectors of Malaysia. The company has since specialised in the design and construction of sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and force main.

Kejuruteraan Indah Maju Sdn Bhd/Pembinaan Prestamaju Sdn Bhd offers a range of solutions to wastewater treatment applications, depending upon the nature of the waste to be treated and the disposal route applicable for the effluent.

Processes range from anaerobic treatment of high strength wastewater, through aerobic treatment of medium strength wastewaters, to membrane filtration systems for the production of ultra high quality effluents.

Kejuruteraan Indah Maju Sdn Bhd/Pembinaan Prestamaju Sdn Bhd is able to design, construct, install and commission wastewater treatment plants utilising the following processes:-

• Extended Aeration Activated Sludge (EA) process

• Conventional Activated Sludge Process

• Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) process

• High Rate Hybrid Reactor (Hybractor) process

• Contact Stabilisation Process

In addition to the above processes, Kejuruteraan Indah Maju Sdn Bhd/Pembinaan Prestamaju Sdn Bhd is also prepared and equipped to undertake active research into processes that could be developed and marketed to treat domestic, agricultural and industrial waste particularly palm oil and rubber effluent treatment as well as oily sludge in the petroleum industry.

The company has gained acceptance and licensed by the Department of Sewerage Services, Malaysia in 1999 for the Design and Construction, Sewage Treatment Plants and Sewerage Works. Nevertheless, the company’s credentials are further strengthened with the registration and certifications by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and also pending approval by the Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK) for the application for the Class ‘A’ License.
