We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative and Accounting Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Additionally, you will assist with basic accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Prepare and distribute financial documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Perform general office duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Coordinate meetings and events, including arranging travel and accommodations as needed.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in administrative support and basic accounting functions in construction industries preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and QuickBooks.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
