University of Gloucestershire

The University of Gloucestershire is a public university based in Gloucestershire, England. With roots dating back to 1834 the University of Gloucestershire was awarded university status in 2001 and is a modern university with ambitious plans for the future.
 

The University currently has over 11,000 full and part-time students. It has three campuses, two in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester and offers foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in a range of subjects including Accounting and Finance, Art and Design, Biology, Business and Management, Computing, Education, Geography and Environmental Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Humanities, Law, Media and Communications, Social Sciences and Sport.
 

The University is a leading university in the area of environmental sustainability and has won awards for the level of support provided to its students. In April 2014 the University of Gloucestershire was short-listed for the award of Outstanding Student Services Team in the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards and was ranked 50th in the 2014 annual Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
 

Located in the south west of England in the Regency town of Cheltenham, a popular tourist destination in the UK with rich and vibrant culture and festivals, and also in the nearby city of Gloucester which is home to a magnificent cathedral, the University of Gloucestershire is an attractive study destination for students from around the world. The University of Gloucestershire already successfully attracts students from Malaysia to study on its campuses and the University is keen to see this number grow over the coming years.
