Since its inception more than 3 decades ago; Gunung Rapat Hiong Piah Sdn bhd had revolutionized the homegrown bakery process into a fully automatic production which is comply with the highest international food processing requirements thus retained the distinctive traditional taste and texture of the local rusk. The year 2007 had witnessed upon our expansion from a humble wooden hut into a “state-of-the-art” factory consisting of 3 automated production lines and succeeded in obtaining the Halal (by Jakim), ISO *2000: 2005 (International Food Safety Standard), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) by UKAS in 2008. Our products were further recognized in the year 2011 as we had successfully obtain ISO 9001:2008 by UKAS and our HACCP standard has been certified by DAC (Dubai Accreditation Center) as well.

After striving for years; our pastries had eventually gained recognition among both local and foreign patrons from all walks of life as we had successfully exporting our famous products to over 20 countries around the world thus promoting a once traditional snacks within the consumers of Ipoh to the international arena.
