POSITION SUMMARY

Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment, devices, and systems. Ensure AV equipment is fully operational, repair or clean equipment when necessary. Tape down and dress all loose wire and cable. Label any broken equipment and communicate problems to manager/supervisor. Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order. Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor. Operate and maintain house audio system. Structure the product description, technical specification, operational requirement in the proposal or bid document. Keep abreast of the latest technology and trends in the audio visual industry. Draft designs accurately and in detail, including clear and correct labelling of equipment, wiring and diagrams. Assist the Project Lead to identify potential installation and operational issues (due to site constraints) which may delay project commissioning. Identify variations in operational requirements and quality of delivery and provide a punch list for the Project Lead to follow up.
