Job description:
- Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered.
- Signing delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
- Preparing our clients' orders by gathering and loading stock.
- Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
Job requirements:
- Min 2 years of working experience in related field.
- Minimum Diploma in any field
Stuffing/unstuffing of containers, receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and releasing of goods.
Receiving of FCL/LCL goods from suppliers (both domestic and overseas) and checking condition of goods received.
Report any shipment discrepancies and damages to Buyer.
Inventory storage, inventory management and monitoring.
Stocktaking and ensuring the security.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.
Transferring of goods from warehouse to retail outlet(s) and inter-outlets; and delivery of goods to VITAKIDS’ dealers’ outlets/warehouses or to customers.
Responding to dealers’ or customers' requirements, inquiries, feedback, and complaints when delivering goods to them and conveying such matters to the appropriate person in charge of handling them, e.g., Sales & Marketing Executive or Retail Executive.
Assist in day-to-day operations within the logistics functions.
Minor repairs and maintenance duties pertaining to the warehouse as requested by us.
Assist company drivers with any ad hoc deliveries.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidates who have experience in Logistics/Inventory Management/Supply Chain or equivalent are preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Meticulous and high accuracy in work assigned.
Good analytical skills and have an eye for details.
Numerate & good with numbers.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment independently.
