Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Security guards observe, buildings and assets. They maintain security at all times by patrolling designated property areas, controlling access at entrances, watching alarm and video recording systems, asking suspicious individuals for identification and reporting infractions and law breaching activities.

a. STAND-IN FOR C.S. OFFICER WHEN HE IS AWAY ON DUTY OR ON LEAVE. b. RESPONSIBLE TO C.S. OFFICER FOR ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO SECURITY AND ENSURE THAT ALL INSTRUCTIONS ARE PASSED DOWN TO ALL SECURITY PERSONNEL FOR INFORMATION AND NECESSARY ACTIONS . c. STAND-IN FOR N.D. OFFICER WHEN HE IS OFF OR ON LEAVE TO ENSURE THE ENTIRE HOTEL PREMISES AND ITS VICINITY ARE PROPERLY SAFEGUARDED AGAINST ACCIDENTS, ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES, LOSS/DAMAGES TO THE MAXIMUM PROTECTION TO THE LIFE AND PERSON OF HOTEL GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES. d. ENSURE MAXIMUM PROTECTION TO THE LIFE AND PERSON OF HOTEL GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES AND THAT THEIR PROPERTIES ARE SAFE-GUARDED AGAINST LOSS/DAMAGES. e. ENSURE THAT ALL INCIDENT REPORTS ARE PROPERLY RECORDED AND COPIES OF WHICH TO BE FORWARDED TO THE C.S. OFFICER. f. ENSURE OF CONTINUOUS SURVIELLANCE OF THOSE AREAS THAT FREQUENTED BY GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES. g. TO ENSURE THAT EFFICIENCY IS MAINTAINED AT ITS HIGHEST LEVEL THROUGH PROPER SUPERVISION AT ALL LEVELS. h. TO CHECK TURNOUT, PUNCTUALITY, STANDARD OF WORK, CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE OF ALL SECURITY PERSONNEL. i. TO ENSURE PROPER BRIEFINGS ARE CARRIED OUT BY SENIOR SECURITY GUARDS TO ALL PERSONNELS REPORTING FOR DUTY. j. TO ENSURE REGULAR/PLANNED/SURPRISE INSPECTIONS AND/OR VISITS ARE CARRIED OUT OF ALL DUTY POSTS AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. k. TO ENSURE ALL STORES AND EQUIPMENTS HELD ON CHARGE TO THE SECURITY DEPARTMENT ARE PROPERLY ACCOUNTED FOR AND ARE IN SERVICEABLE CONDITION. l. TO PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS MAY BE REQUESTED BY THE MANAGEMENT.
