Review Jigs and fixtures designs for new projects in collaboration with production team members.
Develop and assess Design for Assembly for new projects.
Provide official drawings/data (for new mechanical parts) to vendors for First Article data and sample submission for approval.
Ensure tracking of approval status for new mechanical parts/modifications from drawing issuance until full approval.
Assist production line during trial run phase.
Collaborate with Quality Department to address quality concerns.
Perform other pertinent tasks as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
With 3 years of experience in Mechanical or similar industry.
Proven experience in Design for Assembly, Mechanical Part Approval procedures.
Proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, 2D, or 3D CAD.
